Underside marked "SYRACUSE CHINA ECONO-RIM 4-U TRADE MARK PATENTED" as well as "The TRAVELER" and "DESIGNED ESPECIALLY FOR Milwaukee Road DINING CAR SERVICE". Date mark is 4-U. Underside of plate also stamped with a railroad stamp of the letter "G" (photos #9 & 10). Photos #6, 7, & 8 show tiny yellowish bits embedded in glaze around bottom of platter likely from kiln and firing process. No reserve. Free domestic shipping.
