    Description

For your consideration is this pair of upgraded Klipsch type E crossovers. Better neutral wiring, great long lasting reliable stable excellent preforming. Great sounding PIO capacitors. You won't be disappointed, if so return them. This is for one pair. There are 4 pair available. Many use these same PIO capacitors in their audio equipment. Tubes4hifi use them in their Dynaco ST70 & ST120 kits. They upgrade capacitors for their PCB boads, The ones they use are great caps, an yet, are a lower quality Russian cap, the K42Y. Nice cap yet not as high quality as the K40Y-9. several dollars lower cost too. They state that they are an upgrade for their new upgraded PCB boards, and I'm sure they are. The K40Y-9 and the K75-10, however, are constructed differently and thus better sounding, particularly the K40Y-9 PIO caps here in these crossovers.
Guitar players and guitar repairs shops use them as an upgrade in their tube amps. I have read a few articles on different sites concerning guitar amps and upgrades, rebuilds. These particular capacitors are loved by guitarist and musicians alike. I have been using them for over 10 yrs. now with 100% satisfied success rate.
The K40Y-9 are high quality capacitors made for the military. The conductor is aluminum foil and the dielectric is oil saturated paper,
glass sealed in a metal body. These capacitors provide excellent sonic characteristics, with a high tolerance in a wide temperature range. The
K40Y-9's are nice sounding caps, smooth and creamy. The .022uF is a common value in Gibson and Gibson-style guitars. Putting .015uF in the neck position will make that pick-up a little brighter. It's said that Eric Clapton used this configuration, to get the "woman" tone in his Cream days, (he played an SG back then)'.
'These caps are not unlike a new speaker and will sound there best after being broken in for several hours. Larger the cap the longer the break in period. The K75-10 will take sometime before fully opened.
If this is the first time you have heard about them or use them you will soon enough learn for yourself.
These are already at a near break even price after having paid 0 to 5 for a pair of them shipped to me. I purchased a few of them over the years. Then there is the cost of the capacitors, upgraded wiring, high grade Cardas Eutectic silver solder
    and labor..
