    U.S. NAVY BEARING CIRCLE MARK I MOD 2
    IN WOOD CASE #17832 1941
    Up for bid is a U.S. Navy Bearing Circle Mark I Mod. 2 made by The Lionel Corporation New York, NY U.S.A. This WWII authentic 1941 U.S. Navy Bearing Circle, model #17832 is housed in a mahogany wood case.
    The Bearing Circle condition is used, all parts are present and working.
    There is some corrosion where the sights are attached to the circle.
    The bearing circle is approximately 10" in diameter.
    The case shows wear:
    right side a missing latch and on the cover missing both locking lugs. On the back side of the cover there is an approximate 2” split in the wood that does not affect the integrity of the box.
