This latest reprint from R/Robb Publications was originally published in 1995. The book contains 160 pages of a superb collection of black and white photographs. This book is a pictorial essay of one of the many types of engines used on the Denver & Rio Grande Western narrow gauge. The K-27 class locomotives (known as Class 125 when introduced) were considered monstrous at the time of purchase. Included with the B&W photographs are captions, drawings with general dimensions and grade profiles of the narrow-gauge lines of the D&RGW.
