    Description: Rare circa 1890's souvenir felt pennant for the U.S.S. Porter Torpedo Boat. It measures 2 5/8" x 9 1/4" and is in good condition with small tack hole at wide end and tip of pennant missing. USS Porter (Torpedo Boat No. 6/TB-6) was a torpedo boat, the first of her class, launched in 1896, served during the Spanish–American War, and struck in 1912. She was the first Navy ship named for Commodore David Porter, and his son, Admiral David Dixon Porter.
