Here is an excellent condition, 1970 Tamura P50 Classical Guitar.
This is a high level quality classical guitar. It was made in a small workshop by Hiroshi Tamura in Japan. Hiroshi Tamura made a limited number of special guitars and the P50, in this model year, was one of his finer instruments.
Treble notes are bright and clear with extra depth, as one might expect in an orchestral concert grade classical guitar. Bass tones are full and powerful.
The overall condition of the guitar is excellent. The entire guitar was carefully inspected, and refurbished using top quality lacquers.
This hand crafted guitar was built using solid Brazilian rosewood for the back and sides, a cedar neck and a spruce top. This model has an intricate rosette found on finer Tamura guitars.
Scale length on this guitar is 664 millimeters. This creates high volume and tonal balance, as you would find on a Ramirez 1A from this period.
The ebony fretboard is in very good condition. The guitar has just been refretted. Action on the 12th fret low E string is 3.5 millimeters and the 12th fret high E string measures 3.0 millimeters. Nut width is 54 millimeters.
This guitar has the original set of tuning keys (or exact match replacement) in excellent condition. I believe they are Gotoh.
This guitar will be carefully packed and shipped in a good condition hard shell case, inside a sturdy box.
